Unable to access GUI on 240AC AP after changing IP address.

As the title says.

We've created the wireless network, which we can connect to and, I can ping the newly assigned IP address.

however, regardless of the device/method we use to try and access the GUI we either get (on mobile) Primary AP is unreachable or a connection un reachable on a web browser.

anyone have any ideas what is going on?

 - Could you  try to access  the GUI from a wired connection ?

Hi @marce1000

same problem with a wired connection.

also, i can find the AP using Findit on another cisco device attached to the network.

 - Try to fetch the page with wget  , post results here ( https://linux.die.net/man/1/wget )

@marce1000 this is what I get:

--2021-06-23 08:22:52-- https://192.168.***.***/
Connecting to 192.168.***.***:443... failed: Unknown error.
Retrying.

--2021-06-23 08:23:14-- (try: 2) https://192.168.***.***/
Connecting to 192.168.***.***:443... failed: Unknown error.
Retrying.

It only occurs after I change the IP address....?

 - Try to run wget with debug option(s) turned on , and verbose mode too.

attached.

also, if it helps. the AP LED is flashing red, amber green.

Just out of curiosity, when you changed the ip address, did you try to reboot the ap?

No, I didn't have the chance to. After the IP change it won't reconnect.

I left it overnight thinking it might sort itself out. Which it didn't. So I tried pulling the power and still the same issue.

It's working as an AP, but just no access to the GUI.

Probably your only option at this point is to reset to factoy default, make sure you're on latest firmware, then try again.  Sounds like the config has got corrupted when you changed the IP.
