Can you give more details about the problem:

-What is the software version of the WLC?

-What is the country code setting on the WLC? Does it support 'E' regulatory domain AP?

-Is the AP joining in MAP or RAP mode?

-Are you seeing the AP send a discovery request o?

Hi Hussain,

You have mentioned your AP model is: air-cap 1532i-e-k9

If you have enabled US as the country code on the AP, it will need to have the following regulatory domain setting: air-cap 1532i-A-k9. Unless you disable US and enable the correct country code setting on the WLC it will continue to fail to join.

Can you paste the output of 'debug capwap event enable' and 'debug capwap errors enable' from the WLC?

Hi Hussain,

As per the below list there are a lot of countries where a E regulatory domain AP can be used (Denmark being one of them):

However please select the country code based on where the AP is deployed and select appropriately so that you do not run into any regulatory domain restrictions wrt AP power level and channels.

i have aircap 702w-a-k9 in WLC. if i change country will it effect to other ap?

multiple country will support 1532i access point?

Hi Hussain,

Multiple country codes are not yet supported with mesh AP's. If you would like to run your 1532 in local or flex mode it can co-exist with the A domain 702 AP. If you would like to run it in mesh mode, you will need to connect the 702 AP to a different WLC.

Yes you can use the AP in standalone mode as well. The 1532 has Autonomous AP images as well:

Hi Hussain,

Regarding your earlier query you seemed to have entered incorrect IP address of the TFTP server. Shows as 255.255.255.255. Please see the below link which will help with conversion:

You can also use the archive download method. A quick search on youtube will give instructions on how to do it. 

You can unfortunately use only one country code when using mesh AP's.
