Unable to view SSID on Mobile Phone

Dear All,

I configured the Access Point with the SSID and other necessary configuration, i am able to view and connect to my SSID through laptop.

But i am unable to view it on my Apple or Android phone.

Can anyone please let me know what must be the issue..

Responses will be highly appreciated.

Maybe the SSID is broadcasted only on the 802.11a radio and your smartphone doesn't have 802.11a radio.

Post your "show run" output of your AP see what's the reason for this

- it is possible that your AP is configured for one radio but your devices supports only the other radio (like Leo mentioned).

- it is possible that the SSID is hidden but your laptop was preconfigured for the WLAN profile so it can connect while other devices don't see the SSID because it is hidden and they have no pre-configuration for it.

- Posting your config (like Rasika suggested) will help us identifying your issue.
