Universal AP priming Issue with an Cisco App

Hello all,

I'm having an issue of priming universal AP through Cisco app. I've set up a lab for my wireless...

1) I've selected Universal Admin from the WLC.

2) Currently using Google Pixel phone to prime the universal AP.

3) SSIDs are broadcasting correctly, able to see on available network.

4) When phone is connected to the SSID, it tells "connected, no internet"

5) getting an error message of "The internet Connection appears to be offline" (attached) and login credentials are grayed out too (attached)

Does AP needs to be online (connected to the network)? Since this is lab, it's not connected to the internet.

Please help....

Does AP needs to be online (connected to the network)? Since this is lab, it's not connected to the internet.

Since one you connect to that SSID, it needs to communicate with this air provisioning app (which is cloud based). So that SSID require internet connection. Pls refer below video

thanks for the answer and links.

So you are saying that even though it's a lab purpose, they must be online and connected to internet? in another words, AP should be broadcast SSID and those connected devices can reach internet access?
