Hello,

We upgraded our controllers from version 7.0.116.0 to 7.0.240.0.

The controller display the following logs:

mm_mobile.c:3129 Unable to allow user  into the system. perhaps already logged on.

apf_mm.c:763 Could not process MM response. IP addresses do not match during mobility handoff for mobile.Mobile:20:02:af:46:bd:5b.

When we downgrade back to 7.0.116.0 the errors disapper.

Any ideas?

Well you might not ever understand the error if it might only affect one WLC and not the others. If you look at the error it states a mobility. So it may just be the code difference when a device roams since you are using different code. If you had at least two WLCs on that code and you roam between AP's on that code, do you see an error... That would be a test.

Also make sure when you upgrade that all the configurations stayed and nothing accidentally was removed or changed during the upgrade.

Do you just have one WLC or more than one.

Hi Scott,

We got 6 controllers.

We upgraded only one for testing, we don't want to move to production until we understand this error.
