Uploading maps directly on Cisco cmx

Hello Experts,

I am having a new installation of CMX 10.5.1.

Rather than importing maps 1st on prime and then exporting the same to CMX, do we have the option to upload the maps directly on the CMX?

Is it mandatory for us to have the maps uploaded on Cisco Prime?

I do not think you can. Still you require Prime to get map exported & then import to CMX 10.5.x

Hi Rasika, do you have any links to the new CMX 5.1 release. I have tried to find them and they do not show on the Cisco software page or Google in general. My Cisco rep is off for the next week, but I have heard it is released.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rasika,

Thanks for the links!! I was hoping that it was moved to a suggested release. It is still ED. I also need FIPS compliance for a fed agency. Anyway, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Have a great day!!!!

Not possible. PI is the "repository" for maps and CMX/CMX Cloud pulls the info from PI.
There is no way around it.

Thanks Leo and Rasika for the valuable responses.
