I have installed a BBSM53 at a client site. It is primarily used for guest Internet access. However, the company in question obviously want to stop guests accessing websites that may contain offensive material.
Natively the BBSM53 does not support URL filtering and adding a third party product such Surf Control invalidates any warranty and is not TAC recommended. So the issue remains.
I am considering placing an upstream server (between the BBSM53 and the Internet FW) as an inline proxy complete with URL filtering software.
Has anyone done this or something similar? I am presuming that a rule on the ISA server to direct traffic to an upstream proxy would suffice?
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
Thanks,
BAT
