Hi!
Is it possible to use only 1 external antenna (AIR-ANT2524DB-R) with 1602E Access Point?
Thank you for your suggestions!

Of course you can. But dont becuase it will impact performance. 802.11n uses 3 antennas which allows it to send multiple streams.

The friend needs external AP (that works in -20C). There are just few wlan clients at this moment with rather low bandwidth requirements so he got the idea to disable two of three antennas, buy and mount only one antenna for each access point and still have a chance to upgrade access points in the future if he would need additional bandwidth.
Thank you for the info!

Just make sure you specify what port is tx and rx or else the AP will use all the antenna ports.
