I understand that the Cisco WLC has the ability to bridge Bonjour services between subnets.
We have an issue with Bonjour services where sometimes clients cannot Airplay to an Apple TV that is on the same subnet as the client (they cannot find the Apple TV).
Can we use the Cisco WLC to help clients on their subnet find Bonjour services on the same subnet, while NOT enabling cross-subnet Bonjour services?
Have you tried enabling multicast and disabling peer-to-peer blocking?
Enable igmp snooping and the WLC will forward multicast over L2 without any cross-subnet bonjour gateway services.
Alternatively, you can enable broadcast forwarding but that will forward everything between wired/wireless on L2 and will generally create more traffic / more overhead for your wireless network.
Cheers,
