I've set up email alerts for Critical Alerts only, we keep getting this msg
WCS has detected one or more alarms of category AP and severity Critical in Virtual Domain root for the following items.
Looking this up on the CISCO Web sit seems to only apply to new APs joining and is only referenced in ver 4.1 as no work around.
The problem is we're getting bombarded with emails from all APs, seems like they are going down then back up again as it is refereencing existing AP with their hostname and controller.
We are using Contolers 184.108.40.206 , WCS 5.2.148
The down/up can be caused by channel interference. Check the radio channels for your APs in the WLC. The controller will attempt to self-correct by switching channels on the radios and you will receive a "Critical" alarm from the WCS.
