The file, an FUS, is not the correct type of firmware.  Has to be something like "AIR-CT2500-K9-<VERSION>.aes".

Please see the below files, could you confirm the exact and correct file name, thanks.

AIR-CT2500-K9-1-8-0-0-FUS.aes

AIR-CT2500-K9-1-9-0-0-FUS.aes

As Leo stated, none of them. The newest version would be AIR-CT2500-K9-8-5-171-0.aes which you find here:

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/283848165/type/280926587/release/8.5.171.0

Also go through the release notes to check all prerequisits and compatibility.

Hello Dear,

We need RTOS file, also you can see the errors in the attached files.

Dear Leo,

Could you please confirm, how to resolve this issue.

I think we need RTOS file.

I have already provided the answer.  It is no longer my responsibility to read and understand what I responded with.

If you cannot understand Leo and Karsten's answers then you clearly need to be talking to Cisco TAC for assistance.

That error message also warns that using the .aes WLC image "will disable this unit" so you do so at your own risk.

That leads me to suspect that you cannot resolve this situation without help from TAC.

Reading through similar previous posts on the same topic (which you could have searched yourself) - the only way to do this officially is with Cisco TAC.

https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/rtos-image-for-wlc-2504/td-p/3871382 claims to have done it using 5500 RTOS images which apparently can be found by searching.  Entirely at your own risk but I guess you've got nothing to lose if you can't approach TAC.
