Hi Each AP has default username and password. but it looks like after AP joins WLC, the default password does not work any more when logon to the AP via console. or we cannot logon to it at all after joining? Thank you

Hi,

You have 2 choices here, global or individual AP. Obviously global is easier as that is for all APs!

1) For global go to Wireless -> Access Points -> Global Configuration and then fill in your required logon details.

2) Per AP, enter the APs configuration on the WLC and go to Credentials and then select over-ride global crednetials and enter the details you'd like to logon with.

Cheers,

Ric
