Where can I find information on previous owner/s of CISCO equipment?

I am planning on purchasing two (2) AIR-LAP1142N-A-K9 wireless access points to install at a friend's restaurant, but I want to be sure that the person I am buying them from didn't "acquire" them fthrough illicit means.  I have taken down the serial numbers and was wondering if there is anywhere I can check to see who these items were originally purchased by.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

These Access Points are not  Cisco Small Business Products but are actually Cisco Enterprise devices. You can call 1-800-553-2447 and give them the serial numbers and they will be able to tell you about the status of the serial numbers if they are still under warranty, and so forth.
