Only Cisoc 7500 supports 10Gig uplink as of now. But this WLC requires AP to be configured in the HREAP mode and the WLAN should be locally switched

For 802.11n you can go for 3502 or 3600

WiSM-2 supports 10Gbps too.

Just to 1-Up Leo ( ) , the WiSM2 can actually do dual dataplane (2x10) for 20Gbps.

7.2.103.0 feature with Sup 720 software version 12.2.(33)SXJ2 or Sup 2T software version 15.0(1)SY1

Thanks Leo and Terry for the informtion about WiSM2

Keep in mind. You are only has fast as your slowest link. I just had a conversation with another engineer about this same subject. But what he didnt think of was his SUPs (720) were 1 gig uplinks!

George  1 gig uplinks are only for the SUP right, cant I have modules which support 10 Gig in the 6500

Yes, you can. But in this case he didnt have one, just the WISMS and the SUPS.

Oh and another thing. Check the QOS supported on the baldes. They arent all created equal.
