Hello,

I need to know please, my modem is dual band 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, if both are set to 40 Mhz, this can cause interference between the two bandwidth or they are working separately with their own WiFi channels?

Kind regards,

Kindly recommend you not to configure 2.4 GHz band radio using 40 MHz channel widths.

As this is supported by the standards, it is not best practice to do that due to the low number of non-overlapped channels that exist in the band.

Consider that bonding channels together, the number of non-overlappingchannels decrease and the amount of co-channel interference and adjacent channel interference rise, thus doing this kind of configuration useless in 2.4 GHz band.
