Will OfficeExtend 600 work in same subnet of WLC

Hi,

I know officeextend 600 is for home user. But i wanted to know is it possible for office extend 600 to work in same subnet/vlan of WLC.

Nah... It will join a WLC on any subnet. Just depends on how it's provisioned. Now you don't want to use it as an extra AP for coverage because users will not rain properly.

No reason why not.

Whatever i have read since last 5 hours it seems that the WLC should be in separate network or VLAN.

I am worried after reading below discussion

I know we can't use this as AP due to various limitations ,we are using this for new branch office setup. And in maybe after 6month we will go for WLC.

As per your query i can suggest you the following solution-

No it is not possible to extend 600 to work in same subnet/vlan of WLC.As it will join a WLC on any subnet but depends on how it is provisioned.
