I have been configuring Cisco WCS 7.0.230. I have five controllers (5508's) and over 300 AP's. We have a mixture of AP's but mostly 1142n's, with some 2602i and 702w's. We decided to monitor this all using WCS as we want to develop a process of upgrading the 1142n's with 2602i's in highest traffic area's first. When we use the mapping software and try to get RF predictions we get the following message
RF Prediction will not be computed for the following AP's
since these AP's have Unsupported (Other) Antennas.
Are you sure you want to continue?
AP_203(802.11b/g/n), AP_203(802.11a/n),
AP_210C(802.11b/g/n), AP_210C(802.11a/n)
What do I need to do to get the WCS to recognize these newer Cisco Ap's? We have added 702w in some classroom and NEED the RF Prediction to help ensure that coverage is complete. Any suggestions would be helpful

You would need to migrate to NCS to support the newer models of AP and WLC code.

It was my understanding that the WCS was a module of the Prime Infrastructure and that it could be migrate to PI without additional cost, so the only way to identify Cisco AP's antenna's on Cisco own software is to update to new software that offers us services that we don't want? There must be a way to identify these antenna's even if I need to create custom templates or something.
