We are going to deploy Wireless on our network. Beside the suggested Cisco policy for securing wireless we also want to to secure it with through VPN. Has anybody done this that can point me where to start. We have a 3000 concentrator, can I user the external interface for this? THanks.

We used it already for our training center, but without the security.
I think it all depends on your security requirements and standards.
You can start by a simple site survey (contact any Cisco partner, and they should be happy to offer this service).
Then, you have to look into the Pros and Cons of such a solution for LAN connectivity (it will not provide high bandwidth for LAN users).

Yes you can. You can set up your own independent wireless subnet and have the concentrator as the way in to your internal network. This is an ideal way to double up security on wireless networks.
