No, You have to delete & recreate with the modified name.

While you can not rename it you can delete and recreate it, as others have stated in this post and the one mentioned below.
There is another way not mentioned by others, but this is not the quickest or easiest method either. Transfer the configuration file off of the controller, open it in wordpad, edit the SSID name, and then load the configuration back into the controller.

From WLC code 8.0 onward you can rename the SSID without deleting it & recreating. Here is the release notes of that code
