According to the release notes, then to support all AP's in 8.3.140.0, a Supplementary AP Bundle Image needs to be installed additionally on the WiSM2's (same goes for 2504 & 5508 WLCs).
In the release notes found here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn83mr4.html#supplementary-image
it says to follow step 2 through 14 to install the Supplementary AP Bundle Image, where step 14 is reboot.
My question is:
We're about to upgrade to 8.3.140.0 and also require the Supplementary AP Bundle but would like to know if we need to perform a reboot twice - 1st reboot after WLC SW upgrade, and then another reboot after Supplementary AP Bundle Image installation ?
We would prefer to only reboot once, if possible. (So WLC SW upgrade first, then install AP Bundle and then reboot).
Thanks.

Hi Leo
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.
@cisco - It would be of great use if you could put this information more clearly into the release notes for future references.

What if you load the code, reboot, then later load the AP bundle. Is another reboot required?
