WLAN N+1 HA-SKU- AP groups

Hi,

I have a N+1 HA-SKU redundancy and would like to know what will happen to the AP groups memberships when the primary WLC fails as I can't populate the AP groups on the secondary WLC (primary WLC is active). Unfortunately I do not have a test environment but suspect the APs will go into the default group instead of the defined ones and I will have to manually add them into respective groups..is this correct?

Thanks

Create same AP group on both WLC. Means it should be identical on both WLC.

When First WLC will go down then AP will try to join automatically to same AP group in Secondary WLC.

Thanks Sandeep. Will update once I do the failover testing in Prod.

Finally did the fail over test and the AP's joined their respective groups..however they did not automatically get put into the respective configured FlexConnect groups...any idea how this is meant to work? Would hate to do this manually

I know this is old and you may have figured this out already but you have to make sure that on the secondary and tertiary you have run the same commands for the Flexconnect groups also:

config flexconnect group group-name ap add ap-mac
