WLC 2504 and1552 - Controller Based Mesh Configuration

I want to start implementing a outdoor mesh network of APs Aironet 1552 and WLC 2504. Is it possible to implement a single access point at the same time supported the mesh and was equipped with omni-directional antenna for connecting mobile devices and directional antenna to connect to the other acces point?
