Good day, fellow techies,
This is a new one to me. I have a 5508 WLC which I'm attempting to do a factory reset on. I can get into the boot menu OK, but when I select option '4' to 'Clear Configuration,' the unit says 'Launching,' waits a few seconds, then says 'Launch Failed' and goes back to the boot menu options.
The same thing happens when I try the options to 'Manage images manually' or 'Format Flash.' It says 'Launching,' waits a few seconds, then says 'Launch Failed' and goes back to the menu.
Is there some internal 'hardware' reset I can do which will get the unit back to its senses?
