WLC 5508 max supported internal DHCP clients

I can't find it in any Cisco docs.

Does anyone know how many internal DHCP addresses a WLC 5508 can support for clients on a single anchored WLAN?

This is for a guest controller on a DMZ and will only provide DHCP for the anchored guest WLAN. No WAPs will connect to it. Can I get away with having an internal DHCP database of 2,000 clients or more? What's the maximum DHCP server pool size?

Due to DMZ restrictions I have no option to place a dedicated DHCP server on the network.

If there is nothing in the documentation and I had to go off a limit it would be the client limit of a 5508 which is 7,000 clients. You could try creating a subnet that is larger than that as a test on the WLC to see if it throws up an error.
