WLC 5508 Software Upgrade

Hi, 

I think to upgrade the version of the controller, the current version is 7.0.116.0.
All the access points are Air-LAP1041N-E-K9

What is the recommended version?

Is there an upgrade path or can I upgrade directly?

8.3.x is the last supported version for 10xx series AP model. See below table

You have to do multiple upgrades. Please read each code release notes given below prior to upgrade.

Upgrade path would be

7.0.x -> 7.4.152.0 ->8.0.170.0 ->8.3.143.0
