WLC 5520 looses its smart licensing registration

Hello,

We have a WLC 5520, firmware 8.2.170.0, it's registering correctly with smart licensing mode :

But after a while, around 3 weeks, the status revert to unregister, and I have to register it again into the smart licensing portal.

Do you have an idea what can cause this unregistering behavior ?

 - Use a syslog-server on the WLC , to capture logs. Perhaps at the particular time of the problem , some log messages can then be observed, which can give more info on what happened.

Update the code to 8.5 and give it a try, if it doesn't break any AP support.

Hi Saravlak, it's planned to upgrade to 8.5.171.0 in a few months, so I'll see if it has solved this bug, in the meantime I will register it again when required.

i believe its likely resolved in 8.5 as there is no support by cisco on earlier code releases.
