Hi

I want to configure WLC 9800 to send Syslog messages to an external Syslog server. In the configuration I can only see the configurations for the IP address and  vrf, how about the protocol and port number? what does the WLC uses? UDP 514?

Regards,

OJ

Yes default is udp 514, You can set this on CLI

loggin host <IP Address> transport <TCP/UDP> port <PortNumber>

Yes default is udp 514, You can set this on CLI

loggin host <IP Address> transport <TCP/UDP> port <PortNumber>

so only through the CLI the Port and Protocol are adjustable? cause through the GUI its not possible.

Since the WLC is connected to the DNAC, is it possible to configure l"oggin host <IP Address> transport tls port <PortNumber>" through the DNAC or the only possible way is the WLC's CLI?
