Would someone kindly of explain to me what the use case is for the "type: authbypass" in the L3 Webauth configuration tab. This selection essentially looks like mac authentication bypass.
If the whole point of having webauth is to solicit the user to enter credentials, then why would you configure webauth to simply use the MAC address.
The L2 tab on the other hand contains an option to do MAC filtering --- isn't this the right place to configure MAC based authentication?

Webauth
we classify the user into
1- Guest have Password
2- Guest dont have any Password
the first group you can use WebAuth Local or Central WA
the second group is if you sit in Cafe and there is free Wifi you can make Guest access and bypass Auth and the action can be send E0mail or ask some detail about the Guest
I know both are so close but in real the second group can access without any real Auth

note:- group 2 not need MAC filter
