Heelo.
We have a WLC 2504 with 7.4.121.0 sw version.
We have upgraded to this version due to the fact that with old version many many clients get "duplicated ip address" error.
With this release problem remains.
Frequently clients connects to wifi and get this error, though the error is a fake (I've checked many cases, but there are not duplicated addresses).
DHCP server is the same wlc.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I've tried "passive client" configuration: it didn't solve the problem.
My sw release is suggested from cisco web site.
I don't know how to remove wlc interfaces from wlans.
I don't have HREAP enabled.

I've also tried to disable "Session Timeout" with no luck.
Ip address conflict remains and they are very annoying.

Its due to DHCP lease as the client already have the old address its better that you make a new scope and so that the new client gets the ip after the default lease expire then you can switch to the original lease.

Sorry, but it's not the problem.
I've defined a dhcp pool of 200 ip addresses and there are only 24 clients connected...

Error messages appear on client, not in wlc logs.
