Hi,
I have upgraded my WLC to v8.0.133.0 from 7.4.140.0 and I now cannot get Flexconnect clients to work. The authentication is passed across to an ISE server (1.2) and I can see that the client is successfully authenticated.
DHCP server is central and the client should be given a local IP address. I have checked through all settings for the WLAN and the AP and they all look correct i.e. native VLAN. I have not changed any settings on either WLAN or AP since the upgrade.
Are there any extra settings for Flexconnect in 8.0 that need to be enabled and/or changed to get it to provide the DHCP address ?
As a side note, in addition to the software upgrade I put the WLC into an HA pair which was successful.
Guest wireless which also uses ISE for authentication is working ok.
AP's are a mixture of 2602 and 2702.
Native VLAN is 900, port on switch for AP is configured as trunk with same native VLAN.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I would verify the WLAN to vlan mappings on the AP or if your using FlexConnect groups. Maybe the mapping defaulted. Native vlan shouldn't matter here unless you are mapping your WLAN to vlan 900.

Hi Scott, thanks for the response.
I have placed my AP's in a Flexconnect group and have set the Vlan up under the WLAN VLAN MAPPING tab. On the AP, under the VLAN MAPPINGS I have set the VLAN to be GROUP-SPECIFIC under Inheritance and it is the correct VLAN.
I have created this configuration since upgrading to v8.
However, I do have a test AP which is not in a Flexconnect group, the VLAN mappings on that are correct but this has the same issue with no IP allocation to the client.

So it looks like WLAN 1 will use vlan 900 local at the site and the other 2 WLANs will tunnel back to the controller. Is this correct and which WLAN is not working.
