A9k-8T-B not detected after upgrade

Hi

We have upgraded our ASR9000 from ios-xr 5.3.4 to 6.2.3, but after the upgrade, ASR chassis does not detect 10G modules (A9K-8T-B) so we had to reload the chassis in order revert to the previous ios-xr version (5.3.4).

i got this log after upgrade to 6.2.3:

shelfmgr[413]: %PLATFORM-SHELFMGR-3-INCOMPATIBLE_LC_FOR_CHASSIS : Node 0/0/CPU0 has an incompatible card_type of 0x40221 for this chassis/RSP type/FC.

Hi,



This card is from Trident family and is not supported on 6.x.x code.

Last supported code for this HW is 5.3.4.



This is the reason this is not booting on 6.2.3 code.

Btw, the syslog here is self-explanatory, shelfmgr[413]: %PLATFORM-SHELFMGR-3-INCOMPATIBLE_LC_FOR_CHASSIS : this meaning that card is not compatible to the SW.
