A9K dual RSP with Different IOS-XR version Upgrade/Downgrade

Newbie with A9Ks here.

I got A9K with single RSP as of the moment runing 5.1.3

Now plan to install secondary RSP with default 5.2.0.

Will secondary RSP automatically syncs with Master RSP upon insertion?

Same question when upgrading/downgrading, will secondary RSP sync with Master RSP?

Or it's like in 7600 where IOS of SUPs has to match?

Appreciate if someone can share documentation for this.

Secondary RSP always syncs up with the software of Primary RSP. For ASR9K both primary and secodary RSP always runs with the same software.

When "install add.." is entered, it will upgrade both RSPs?

Q. Is this ASR9K being used for testing. We now have another EMR release available(5.3.3). It will be better to move the node to 5.3.3 release.

A9k is actually in production.

Yes will look at upgrading to latest stable release.
