ASR power (UK)

We have recently purchased ASR 9010 with one RSP and 2x 4 10GIG port card. The device has come with commando socket to be installed in one of the datacentre. I would like to test the device in office before shipping. has anyone had this experience? If so, what cable were used and was the connection on a separate power feed?

hi rajesh,

If you have an AC model, you can plug it into any 220-240 volt outlet pretty much,

BUT make sure it can support about 16 amps, you'll blow your fuses out in no time :)

If you have the DC one, you need a 220AC-48DC converter, be careful with those also, because you'll fry your own fingers if you touch the poles (trust me, done it too many times:).
