I have few questions about nVEdge cluster license.
1. Is it really necessary for building cluster?
2. When should I install the license? before build cluster or after that?
3. If I don't the NV lic, what will happen? only have error warning or it can't be clustered.
Why do I ask those question, because recently I met a vrf lic problem, and had opened the case.
The TAC told me that try to re-install the lic by using "(admin)#clear license" first, then re-install it again.
But I found the command "(admin)#clear license" will remove all the license file within the box, and can't specify it.(I have VRF lic and NV Cluster lic in my router)
So if I performing that command, means the NV lic will be uninstalled too. I am wondering that whether the cluster will be crashed after uninstalling it.(although TAC told it won't)
BTW, I found the lab machine which is in cisco lab. It also hadn't install NV lic in it, but worked fine.
