Hi all,
I have a question for you, do you know if there is a limit in the name of a policy-map for a PPPoE session?
For example, here are 2 policy-maps in HQOS that are strictly the same:
policy-map QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RD-OUT
class class-default
service-policy QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RDP-CHILD-OUT
shape average 3916000 bps
!
end-policy-map
!
policy-map QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RDP-OUT
class class-default
service-policy QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RDP-CHILD-OUT
shape average 3916000 bps
!
end-policy-map
!
policy-map QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RDP-CHILD-OUT
class PRECEDENCE3
bandwidth 1440 kbps
!
class PRECEDENCE5
priority level 1
police rate 1200 kbps
!
!
class PRECEDENCE6
bandwidth 8 kbps
!
class class-default
!
end-policy-map
!
Both policies apply well on my PPPoE session but in the case of the policy-map "QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RDP-OUT" it does not match anything (no packets) and for the other "QOS-4M-ETH-VOIP-RD-OUT" everything works fine, it matches.
The only difference is the size of the name of the policy.
Is there a limit ?
BR
Nick
