ASR9K Lost configuration after reboot

Hello

 

We have an ASR9K that loose comitted configuration after a reboot .

We have the following log :

 

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Apr 19 14:45:31.690 : cfgmgr-rp[167]: %MGBL-CONFIG-6-STARTUP_ALTERNATE : Configuration Manager can not find any configuration to apply from the alternate source '/harddisk:/no-config'. Default configuration will be applied.

did someone try to perform password recovery and did not revert the rommon variable?

Overriding the Base configuration in XR:

 

Step 1

In rommon set the following variable:

 

rommon> IOX_CONFIG_FILE=/harddisk:/no-config

 

 

 

we can check the following output to confirm "more nvram:/classic-rommon-var location 0/<active rp>/CPU0"

I unset the ROMMON config file and all is good now.
