ASR9K Repartitioning (CSCub41271) XR 4.3.2 -> XR 5.3.2

Hi,

if have to upgrade a RSP4 from XR 4.3.2 to XR 5.3.2. Disk0: shows only 1.6 GB so I first thought that I could repartition it to 1.9 GB. As it seems to me the repartitioning should have been done during a previous upgrade, I can't find a SMU in 4.3.2 that includes the utility.

Can I use the 4.2.1 SMU on 4.3.2 (I doubt that very much)? Is there another tool in 4.3.2 that lets me do the repartitioning? Or should I use the FPD pie trick and leave the disk0: at its current partitioning?

Any idea is appreciated.

Kind regards

Mat

Hi Mat

The 4.2.1 SMU can't be used on 4.3.2, but for the purpose of this discussion the re-partitioning tool is already in 4.3.2, you'll just need to run it, more details here:
