Cisco NCS 540 admin devtools

Looking to see if anybody has any information on a few commands in the NCS 540 admin command line. Can't find any documentation on them. The two commands are activate and devtools. Can anybody explain what additional commands/config and tools this will enable on the platform?

sysadmin-vm:0_RP0# ?

activate Enable additional commands and configs
devtools Enable/disable development tools

Hello, we are running NCS540 in our network. Admin mode completions of the commands in question are:

sysadmin-vm:0_RP0# activate ?
Possible completions:
advanced Enable debugging and advanced commands and configs
sysadmin-vm:0_RP0# activate advanced ?
Possible completions:

I don't see any devtools command in options:

sysadmin-vm:0_RP0# d?
Possible completions:
deactivate Disable additional commands and configs
debug start debug for process
delete Delete file
describe Display transparent command information
dir List contents of directory1
dumpcore Perform a core dump for the specified process
