Does the ASR9k support LNS configuration. From some old and new information I’ve found it looks like it only supports the LAC side of the L2tp tunnel, I hope that’s not the case.

we are currently runing 6.4.2, in the 6.4.2 BNG manual it gives you configuration instruction on how to configure it as a LAC but just says the LNS is provided by the ISP
The hand-off task, from the carrier to the ISP, is implemented by Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP)
or Layer 3 Virtual Private Networking (VPN). L2TP requires two distinct network components:

Saw some discussion on this recently, still no plans to add LNS support on the ASR9K.

Official word from TAC is that they don't support LNS functionality and there is no roadmap to add that feature
