EMR in EOL statement

Hi,

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/ios-nx-os-software/ios-xr-software/eos-eol-notice-c51-740473.html

In the 6.1 EoL statement I am missing the differentiation between standard and EMR release. So I would like to know what is the support timeline for the 6.1.4 release.

Anyone from Cisco?

Hi Florian,

you can count on 12 months more for EMR. I'll check why is the EoS doc not updated yet.

Hi Aleksandar,

I think this is a mistake, because in older EOL statements (e.g. 5.3), the EMR is mentioned explicitly.

Florian

Hi Florian,

yes, it is a mistake. EMR EoSWM should be explicitly called out. As I wrote, I'll check why is the EoS doc not updated yet.

The XR 6.1 EoL document also needs to make clear that 6.1.3 for NCS-5500 has 36 months of support even though it is not a true EMR.

The XR 6.2 EoL announcement also makes no distinction between EMR and SMR releases.
