Error on CRS-8

Hi

we have this error on CRS-8 on  log file as

plim_xge_otn_flex[285]: %PLATFORM-CIH-1-ASIC_ERROR : pla[0]: A parity error has occurred. 0x1008001e   

this is the first time i see this alerts   can any one know what it is ?

This is an indication of a L2TCAM parity error.

CSCuy49290 changed the behavior, see below behavior starting in 6.1.1 (and also behavior prior to 6.1.1).

1. For all L2TCAM parity error, reset will happen if 2 error per second or 8 errors per day, earlier it was 5 errors per sec and 20 errors per day.
2. For all L2TCAM parity error, at second hard reset shutdown the card, earlier it is 5 the hard reset reload the card.
3. Changing the HSS PLL LOCK sw action form PON RESET to NONE

In short, if you keep seeing these errors constantly you may need to RMA the PLIM.
