How can I use the CG Nat with the IOS XRv ?

I'am trying to test the Bulk port allocation and the predefined NAT in IOS XRv, but the commande " hw-module service cgn" is not available.

I think it's a probleme of a Service Package or somthing like that.

So How can I use the CGN mode int the IOS XRv, and if it is a probleme of Service Package where can I finde it ?

Yanes, IOS XRv doesn't do CGN/NAT. Can you elaborate a bit on what your trying to do? Are you wanting to use this in a NFV method? Want to help you out, but first want to understand the use case.

I'am just trying to learn about XR routers, i read that there is no way to emulate a real IOS XR, so the only way to do some test is to use IOS XRv, and i need to implement a Bulk Port Allocation or Predefined nat by using CGN in order to track subscribers.

So how can I test that ?

Ok if its just for simulation there isn't a way to do this on IOS XRv, you need real VSM hardware.
