We are running 7.1.2 on our NCS55A2's and realize there is a need to upgrade. However, my lab gear was at 7.7.21 so I wanted to document the steps to get from 7.1.2 > interim release (change linux os)>final release. I did that today on one device in lab with a boot-from-usb approach going straight back to 7.1.2. However, in the course of restoring the configuration file manually, I see that the global command 'macsec' to create a policy, is not there. In the key-chain configuration, the macsec keyword was accepted....so kind of confused as to why it is allowed in one place, but not globally.
