L2-rewrite-4-INIT_FAILED after ASR9K 64 migration

Hi all,

I have tried to migrate an ASR9910 from 6.5.3 32 bit version to 64 bit version. Most of the process seemed to be fine and the device is running again with the migrated configuration. Unfortunately there seems to be an issue after the migration. The device is throwing log message for both RSPs and Linecards in the chassis. Anybody seen the following message and know how to fix?

Can you send show install active summary?

You will need the fix for CSCvp00991 or SP2 installed.

Hello Sam,

thanks for your answer. I assumed I have SP2 installed. I used CSM to build a golden ISO image and during choosing which packets to install I also added the SP2 tar file. So now, I am not sure whether the build process really added SP2. If you look at the "show install active" below you don't see CSCvp00991.

I did some digging, the subsequent fix came in

CSCvr35326

 

That is showing as loaded in your router.

 

If you are still facing the error messages after SP2 activation then we need to triage this further, that will need to be done through a TAC SR as we may need to exchange a bunch of info.
