NCS540 licenses features

Hello,

I have an NCS540 router running IOS-XR 7.1.2 and I have purchased these licenses :

  • Access Advanced SIA per 10G
  • Access Advanced SW Right-to-Use v1.0 per 10G
  • Access Essentials SIA per 10G
  • Access Essentials SW Right-to-Use v1.0 per 10G
  • NCS 540 Denali Base HW tracking
  • NCS540 IOS-XR Software Tracking PID 7.1 K9

When I issue a #show package usage I find that the router is only consuming two licenses :

Tue Mar 9 09:25:55.769 UTC

License Authorization:
Status: AUTHORIZED on Mar 08 2021 21:03:47 UTC

NCS 540 Denali Base HW tracking (N540-12Z20G-TRK):
Description: NCS 540 Denali Base HW tracking
Count: 1
Version: 1.0
Status: AUTHORIZED
Export status: NOT RESTRICTED

Access Essentials SW Right-to-Use v1.0 per 10G (ESS-AC-10G-RTU-1):
Description: Access Essentials SW Right-to-Use v1.0 per 10G
Count: 2
Version: 1.0
Status: AUTHORIZED
Export status: NOT RESTRICTED

Can someone please explain to me when the other licenses get consumed and what are theirs features ?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.

Is it possible to provide the difference between SIA and RTU licenses and what is SIA exactly ?

RTU - Right to Use license, this is usually a license related to the hardware/line card itself.

SIA - Software innovation access, this license is usually based on a feature and scale of the feature.

for example with # of routes learned, if its below 512k we can use an essentials license, but over 512k we will       need an advanced
