Package install operation failed due to a system error????

Hi,

I need help to knw why i am unable to install "asr9k-video-p.pie-4.0.3" package?

Hi Tahir,

"sh install log 19 detail" may help understand what went wrong.

If you could provide "show install act sum" and a full "dir disk0:" may help too.

I face the same issue. Were you able to sort this out? My show install log is as below.

We would need to look into the "admin show tech-support install" to figure out what happened exactly. Have you tried to verify and repair the active installation before proceeding? What packages are active on the router?

These error messages typically indicate disk or file corruption.

Use the following to check.

 

Disk related problems check the following commands:

fsck disk0:
run
diskinfo -f -d /disk0: -s
chkfsys -uV /disk0:

File corruption:

Perform the install verify as indicated by Aleks.

looks like system disk/harddisk issue....

run below mentioned cmd and check if some partitions error fixed:

fsck harddisk: loc 0/rsp0/cpu0
fsck harddisk: loc 0/rsp1/cpu0
Fsck disk0: loc 0/rsp0/cpu0
Fsck disk0: loc 0/rsp1/cpu0

then restart process- 1) #admin process restart instdir 2) #admin process restart insthelper

if not fix then copy in disk0: thn after try again. last option is rsp switchover.

Please check below output.
