Power on new RSP880 at ASR9K

i will power on new RSP880 at ASR9K, So what's default/current ios release on that RSP

Mo, which release is the RP on now? is it running XR or it didn't come with XR installed? All you need is the you don't need ASR9K-iosxr-px-5.3.3-bridge_smus.

You just need the 5.3.3.TAR, there is one with k9 and one without it, download your preferred and just do an update. If you want to learn more about automating upgrades take a look at the following:

thx Eddie, it's working now with 5.3 and need to upgrade to 5.3.3, so is tar file is enough.

Yes easy one. Download ASR9K-iosxr-px-K9-5.3.3.tar or ASR9K-iosxr-px-5.3.3.tar

1) untar it

2) put it on your ftp server

3) From the router do an install add source ftp://user:pass@ipadd/directory/ mini.5.3.3.pie mpls.5.3.3.pie etc.. activate

when i boot the RSP from the first time it logged in to ROMMON, i used below steps but i don't know right mini file to use?

If you are turbobooting, you boot the mini vm file (asr9k-mini-px.vm-5.3.3).

I get the problem, it was when using 5.2.2 mini-vm and solved when using 5.3.3.

SO, the quetion now is release 5.3.0 supporting 100G LC, or need upgrade to 5.3.3
