Query on IOS XR software part number

Hi, I have came across the following IOS XR software part number and curious to know what's the difference between them?

XR-A9K-PXK9-06.01
XR-A9K-PXK9-06.02
XR-A9K-PXK9-06.03

Hi,

the last number is the software version. You should go with the highest number.

If you plan to upgrade you A9K, you should go with 6.1.4.

Hi, thank you for your quick response. One more question is if now I'm getting the software part number with highest number, such as 6.1.4, can I upgrade the software to 6.2.2 or major release such as 7.x.x?

Yes, you can upgrade from 6.1.4 to 6.2.2, no issues there. You should stick with 6.1.4 because it's EMR (Extended Maintenance Release).
