RSP880 Recommended Upgrade

Hello There,

Can anyone provide a suggestion to upgrade our ASR9006 router with RSP880, MOD80-SE and MPA-20x1GE on it?

I see 7.5.2 a suggested release with 64bit version that can work with A9K-RSP880-LT-SE on ASR9006 but not sure if there is going to be any issue with MOD80 and MPA-20x1GE with this latest version.

Thank you

Kandarp

Hi,

here is the recommendation page on code;

https://community.cisco.com/t5/service-providers-knowledge-base/ios-xr-release-strategy-and-deployment-suggestion/ta-p/3165422

the RSP880 can support 64bit;

however the mod80 cannot, it is typhoon based card, from the page the last release that supports typhoon is 673(32bit) XR

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/asr-9000-series-aggregation-services-routers/116726-qanda-product-00.html

Thank you
