XR 6.1.x EMR

Hi,

I see that 6.1.2 is out and the current EMR release is 5.3.3/4

What are the plans and timing for a 6.x EMR as I need to upgrade some devices and would like to understand what's planned

Hi Mark,

based on my personal experience we have to wait about 4-5 months for a new release. 

Check the release dates for 5.3.0 to 5.3.3 on Cisco download software site.  

Maybe it will be the same for 6.1.x. 

Which version are you running now? I am curious.

6.1.3 will be the next release in the 6.1.x train. This is slated for Jan 31, 2017 (as of today) to be on CCO.

Thanks. Can you tell me if 6.1.3 is planned to be EMR.

I'm running mostly 5.x and I plan on upgrading a 4.x box so if 6.1.3 is EMR that's probably the version I'll choose for the 4.x box

Hi Mark,

please check first if your hardware is supported on 6.x.

First gen. HW (Trident) and ISM-100 is not supported.
